I thought you needed 2 ips for name servers

No you don't. All you need to do is register the name servers (in your domain dns settings at the registrar) and then set them as name servers for all your sites. It doesn't matter if your sites are on the same ip or on different ip's. Since you're registering name servers on ns1, ns2, etc you can still run a site on the domain as well if you want.

Really? You never had the urge to go in there and click on things to see what's what? That's the first thing that I did in cPanel. Second thing was open google and read up on stuff I had no clue about. If you don't scope it out, how do you know what's possible? I never ask my host to do anything unless there's no other option. I have little patience for dealing with customer service.
