I have to say, Im always amazed at your support for Putin especially as you live in Canada and have family in the UK. Both prominent supporters of Ukraine. The UK especially has been at war with Putin for years. Let's be honest, Putin is a murdering thugTheButcher wrote: ↑August 16th, 2025, 10:26 amGreat meeting, Putin explained the root causes of the problem, Trump seems to have understood it, knows Putin is not backing down and will either get it resolved diplomatically or on the battle field. Trump called his nato buddies and told Zelensky get your ass over here Monday, I'll tell you what is going to happen. And the next meeting will be in Moscow, Zelensky will sign a full capitulation and he''ll leave Ukraine. My bet he'll go to London in disgrace.
The war was never going to end any other way but thanks to Zelensky being manipulated by his western masters a lot of innocent people died and Ukraine lost territory, but hey the sooner it is over the less losses for Ukraine.
Putin won, Zelensky lost and Trump earned his Nobel peace prize.
Either way, do you honestly think that if Ukraine gave into Putin's demands (ie. give up eastern Ukraine, reduce armed forces to 50,000, NO SECURITY FORCES in Ukraine, withdrawal of NATO support/membership and removal of Zelensky's administration) in return for a promise from Putin that he will not attack again will be the end of the war ??????
The fact that Putin doesn't want security forces in Ukraine and he wants the Ukrainian armed forces reduced to 50,000 says it loud and clear. Putin wants a weakened Ukraine so he can come back and finish the job and then, almost certainly, roll onto the Baltic states and Finland.
Trump is doing what Chamberlain did. Appeasing a dictator by giving him everything he wants and hoping that will be an end to it. Well it certainly didnt work out for Chamberlain and it definitely wont work out for Trump
