Think of the first crew members on the thing after a couple exploded in tests what would be going through their minds :----)
True but then thats why they have unmanned test flights. If its going to fail then rather it fail now before they put people on board

The Saturn V rockets blew up several times before the first Apollo missions to the moon. Infact all the Apollo 1 crew were killed in a fire on the launchpad

True and that's only at its closest approach. I think the scariest thing is when Mars is in conjunction with Earth (ie Mars is on the opposite side to the sun from Earth). During that period communications are impossible and so any astronaughts on Mars would be completely cut off from everyone else here on Earth. Imagine that :?

Six month in a small space will drive people insane.
Assumption; 3 people flying to mars say 180 days, 3 poops a day that is 540. Where they going to store the shit?
Stop looking for reps if they don't care why waste your time and traffic at their program, fuck that.

They eject it into space. They recycle the urine over and over for drinking water but all the rest gets chucked out

Bear in mind we've had astronaughts spending well over a year on the ISS and all their shit gets ejected and burns up in our atmosphere. They call it a pooping star lol

they don't need to talk to me. they should have been searching for the right material. musk is trying to do what is already being done. let the idiot think he's building a space city...

What are you on about ???

It was nothing to do with the material, they lost telemetry and the automated self destruct sequence kicked in. Given that this was only the 2nd test flight of the most powerful rocket ever built by mankind, then you have to expect there will be teething problems

Remember SpaceX has been launching astronauts to the ISS and back on behalf of NASA since 2020 so I think they know what they are doing

Incidentally, its made of stainless steel rather than the usual carbon compounds because steel performs much better at cryogenic temperatures, as well as its ability to withstand high heat

yes i said that i saw a shiny object looked like an almond. remember? i think it was using water because the trail would vanish real fast. it dipped down and i saw it. then it just took off fast and zipped up into space. this was in the day around noon. i think he should rethink the design...
