Sex.com is up for auction, get your check books out

[Terry]

They keep saying it is "the most valuable domain on the internet" every time it goes up for auction, yet low and behold, every time it changes hands the same thing plays out:

yet another extremely wealthy owner with way more than enough financial backing to turn it into an enormous Cash cow provided they meet the unbelievably low threshold of:

having slightly more than mediocre businesses sense and
willingness to hire literally anyone worthy of calling themselves an SEO -

and ultimately after paying these obscene sums of money for that domain name, time and time again the result ends up being a boring mediocre Pinterest knockoff site with terrible /borderline pathetic and incompetent SEO met with lukewarm response from visitors who will probably never return, and the only marketing I've ever seen alternative for the site ive personally ever seen being limited to the hype around how much that domain was sold for....

So ultimately then use boils down to some other Rich douchebag is probably going to buy this site for an obscene amount of money and do nothing productive with it again because with great gobs of money like that to throw around comes great douchebaggery

Okay so if it is not "the most valuable domain on the internet" when it comes to adult which other domain tops it.

I just checked estibot.com for sex.com and I got $13,325,000

It seems a fair price to me.

Did sex . com sell?

[xxxman]

Someone redesign that site it is so not looking good for a great domain

[CanadianChick]

Just how much do you think it can sell for?

[donnie]

Like the site itself another dumb thing to do on the auction site. People with high priced domains seem to make bad choices.
