Why alienate surfers so they do not return, pop traffic today is useless unless you have it in the 100's of thousands.
1 pop is too many????????

Odds are one is okay. The question is how many sales does that one pop yield and how many surfers will leave once they see that first pop. Pops have a bad rep and left a bad taste in surfers mouth because of all the idiots out there that have abused them. Why do you think browsers have pop blockers? Because people hate them! Piss 'em off and they're sure to leave and odds are it won't be via your sponsor links!

My blogs have 200-700 visitors a day, the numbers are just not there to justify me upsetting 1 surfer with a popunder, if I have 50000 visitors a day then I can see making a couple of sales off the pop unders, but for now I am trying to grow my blogs not turn the visitors away.

I've read that it negatively impacts your ranking on search engines having popunder codes, any input on this here.

If I had a site in the pornhub, xhamster or youporn level of traffic it would be an easy decision, until then I am avoiding pops on my sites.

Popunders are legal and not a problem to me. Remember you are in business to make money not please surfers.

Some of our affiliates make good money on dating offers (SOI & DOI) with popunder traffic in AFFMY.com

Especially from tubes. You should look at gay dating niche..... :)

It costs nothing to place a popunder, I use them on some sites that generate decent visitors.
