do you make money with popunders

I'm getting frustrated with sites adding 1 or 2 popunders and I'm a webmaster, do popunders make money today pr just turn away repeat visitors.

I'm okay with one pop that's cookie based and doesn't repeat with every click. The popup in chaturbate tools is highly annoying when it's on sites. The SOB just keeps on popping. You'd think they'd stick a damn cookie in there!

that's an exit console but you can also trigger popup by time delay instead. You can pop images, html, etc. I'm currently not using it but have used it in past. Works fine as exit console and I'm guessing it'll work fine as time delay popup as well. You can set a cookie expiry or not, your choice.

Why alienate surfers so they do not return, pop traffic today is useless unless you have it in the 100's of thousands.

Ad blockers, browsers and anti-spyware have all hurt this part of the business.

It depends on how much traffic you have a day. Look at xhamster they have a pop, but they also have millions of hits a day, it is all a numbers game.

A small 500x500 pop on my blogs is what I use and it makes me beer money, about $3-$4 a day.It does not get obtrusive so my bookmarkers stopped complaining.They were not too happy with the full page pops I used to run.

Finding a pop script that will load in the background with no click necessary from the surfer is what is hard.
