You don't have to be! You can simply view social media accounts as separate sites within a site, and posts as, well... blog posts. The only difference is that valued engagement metrics are followers, likes, comments, and shares. Just type "twitter porn" and you'll see that age plays no role, it might with domains, but not with SM accounts.
