My boyfriend is a very nice guy and he asked me to move in with him last month after we started dating for 4 months. Everything is perfect, he helps out in every why, but he gets undressed leaves his clothes all over the bedroom and bathroom, he takes things and leaves them lying around. Why is it men just do not put things back into the cupboard, drawers or in their place.He is not the first man I have dated who is messy.

I used to be like that when i lived at home, my mom would make my bed, vacuum dust clean my room, take down the empty plates and cups every morning lol.

I never left dirty clothes around, when I got married I tried to impress my wife and it just became a habit. I never leave stuff lying around since that time.

Mine is fairly tidy. There are a few areas around the house where he piles stuff up including a third of the kitchen counter, garage, barn, basement. I leave them sit. Not my stuff, not my problem. Pick your battles. No one is perfect.
