Its your forum so up to you have you have it but I would have thought that you WANT the search bots to know you are talking about SEO stuff

A lot of adult webmasters search for SEO tips and its a way for them to find this forum

Im almost certain that search bots wont penalize you for talking about seo. Not something Ive ever come accross anyway

if you want to keep the board clean, then put the seo forum in its own forum, keep it publlic, and then people can go there for seo ideas, where all seo stuff is kept together, but not buried in chat - like you have your other sections

We tried this one too as you know, there is not enough chat for it, for now let's leave it as be we can re-visit this later on.
