Haven't we been down this road in some countries in the past, where tobacco was illegal and the black market sales were ripe with crime and high prices?


"New Zealand will ban the sale of tobacco to its next generation, in a bid to eventually phase out smoking.

Anyone born after 2008 will not be able to buy cigarettes or tobacco products in their lifetime, under a law expected to be enacted next year.

I totally agree with you it is insane, however much you argue it is for the health of people taking away their rights to smoke is stupid. How can they do it, simple make a law and enforce it sad but true.
