It's more than your breath that's affected. The garlic reeks out of your skin as well. People in some cultures have this garlic "scent" due to their diets. I remember experiencing this growing up in Europe.

I remember eating toast rubbed with a glove of garlic and smeared with duck fat when I was growing up. Damn good stuff but you could smell me coming your way.... for days.... lol. The German diet isn't overly heavy in garlic but my dad was fond of it. He was Hungarian. Good food!
