freeze as in what? cold finger? stiff? what? if it's stiff may be a joint issue.

No it freezes up as in I can not move it

It could be just the way that you have your hands when on the computer, or it could be a medical condition. I get that sometimes, but it's definitely because of the way I'm typing or sitting for too long. Would be good to ask a doctor, though, it can be caused by a few things.

It could be anything as ColMike said including arthritis or nerve damage, get it seen to.

I thought the pain with Carpal Tunnel is in the wrist
