[NON-BUSINESS] Signed up to AA serious post

Not sure why I am posting this here but it's supposedly good to talk about the problem with people and share your demons ask for positive comments,so I have been told. My drinking is getting in the way of my work and social life. I can not keep a relationship past the 2nd or 3rd meet what ever I try,eventually the woman I am seeing figures out I have drink problem.
I know that and try not let on,no I am never mean to her,after drinking what happens is I get very jealous when some guy looks at the woman I am with and it ends up in words or not so well for him.


Cut the story this afternoon I went to the Pasadena AA and asked to be a member. Come Monday I will be at my first meet and try get past my drinking problems. Not asking for sympathy or laughs, if you can be supportive of my decision it would be appreciated if not please do not comment with negative comments.I have made up my mind this has to stop at 36 I feel I need to face my demons and act accordingly, I do not want to be found passed out or beaten up one day because of it.

No one in their right mind is going to say anything but positive things about your decision brotha. It take a big man to admit his problems and an even bigger man to do something right to fix those problem. dood clear your system. get some b-12 tabs for your liver. u will be pissing brite yellow. eat man dont over do it. get a hobby even if it's for just a few hours a week. the first couple of months are hard. dont pick up fucking smoking motherfucker!!! people turn into chain smokers when they don't drink. i don't like cigs.

2 of my cousins did it together and that was 5 years ago now they are 100% dry, it is a good place to go when you have an alcohol issue.

If you can not handle the drinking and know it is out of the normal you have to get help or you can hurt yourself,others get into legal trouble driving or even die.You sound to me a sensible fellow who took the right first step.
