Getting paid beats giving it away for free

To start a free host takes $10K in hardware and scripts, to start a paid host you need at least $50K to start and that is beyond my means. I can go to a paid host once I build up a following on my free host.

Honestly for free hosting, there would be a lot more room to get something good going in mainstream. After Thumblogger, I'm not touching another free host ever.. No offense, long story on that one.
