do you ever think of taking the next step and hiring people or merging with other sites, doing this blogging on my own is making money (not complaining) but it's not going to ever go past this level. I only can do so much in a day. What do you think of hiring help or teaming up with other sites and merging into a bigger outfit so you can grow bigger.

I've always wanted to, but haven't yet because I'm afraid that at some point something will happen or the company won't make enough money and end up having to get rid of employees and making them mad. No idea how that all works, but I'm interested in learning.

I like doing my own thing. If I can meet my needs while doing my own thing I'm a happy camper. It's not about the money, it's about the freedom. I left the corporate world a long time ago and I will gladly cut expenses to the bone to keep from going back to anything that would subject me to anyone else's opinions or what the fuck ever.

We have a partnership with https://www.chickpass.com whereby his members get access to our network and vice versa. Combined that makes us one huge network

There's no commercial tie up, just the members area access and users seem to love it

Blogs are the past present and future for me. I have a system in place, all WP and plugins get auto-updated, I run more RSS feeds than I care to name, I do a handful of posts myself on the blogs I like most. It's all me myself and my business.

I'm thinking of selling my sites and not working in 3 years time. I have enjoyed this for the past 21 years but there comes a time you have to stop working. So there is no expansion plans in my business life any more. My hubby and I have had this talk, he is retiring in 2024 and we want to be together be there for his son's new baby coming early next year.
