I don't get why you need a G wagon in the city, I see very well dressed men drive them more than men. Arnold Schwarzenegger has been asking for an electric on for a long time, he'll be happy. Sylvester Stallone has a G-wagon it's a macho image thing I guess to drive around Beverly Hills and Malibu in one.

Thats what I thought but then i watched a documentary the other day and apparently your car is only a very small part of your overall carbon footprintmisterporn wrote: ↑September 6th, 2021, 8:09 amThink of the air quality we will have when they do away with diesel trucks and buses, those things make the air we breathe disgusting.
We might buy an electric car and think we are doing our bit for the planet, but then we drive to the supermarket and buy steak from Argentina, bananas from south Africa, grapes from southern france etc etc. All of which has been flown in 24 hours before for our convenience and thats where our real carbon footprint lays
I still want one of them EQS though now i watched the video the Butcher posted. Wow, what a car lol

This from caranddriver.com The Tesla Model S Plaid has set a world record at the Nürburgring for the fastest electric car, hell it beat the Taycan turbo S by 11.431 seconds !
Why you call an electric car a "Turbo" is another question, there is no turbo because it is not a gasoline powered car!
"The Tesla Model S Plaid has just set the production electric car lap record at Germany's famed Nürburgring racetrack, CEO Elon Musk said today on Twitter. He said the car used was "completely unmodified, directly from [the] factory."
That 7:30:909 time, if true, would make the Model S Plaid, which uses Tesla's new tri-motor powertrain good for 1,020 horsepower and 1,050 lb-ft of torque, 11.431 seconds quicker than the next-fastest EV to lap the Nürburgring, the 616-hp dual-motor Porsche Taycan Turbo. It's worth mentioning that the more powerful 750-hp Taycan Turbo S has yet to be run around the famed racetrack. That's probably a moot point, though—the 1,914-hp quad-motor Rimac Nevera is likely to be significantly quicker around the 'Ring than them all."

That is fast for sure but why are car manufacturers of electric cars focusing so much on acceleration not on range, I don't get it.

Good luck finding a charge point in central London when more of these electric jalopies start driving in town. You can not even get into town today, and finding a park spot is not a reality.

This is a problem every where, not all apartment buildings have assigned parking spots for residents, and what about guests who come over and are low on charge.Britporn_Mike wrote: ↑September 16th, 2021, 11:32 amGood luck finding a charge point in central London when more of these electric jalopies start driving in town. You can not even get into town today, and finding a park spot is not a reality.
