It is fine if you have volume to sell do it, not if you have 5-10K hits a day to your site

I have asked this before and done my home work, it does not impact your ranking on Google except for when you get into BHT which Google does not appreciate.

Big sites have landing pages in other languages based on the IP of the user, so does Google, this says it all.
