The spare bedroom is my man cave / office, I have a desk, small refrigerator, water cooler, tv and even a single bed I can lie on relax and work. I can not work with people around me.

My dining room table. Part of it is for my desktop, the other side is for the laptop, and half of it is a Lego city lol.

Spare bedroom, I have an old desk that bears the beast and a broken down chair that needs replacement. If I feel motivated, I retreat to this room for hours on end and fire up the beast. The dog takes a nap on the bed in there and we're all set to work the magic.

Me too, mobile is easier but not always doable. I've had some weird setups, too, like I've made some blogs on a Dreamcast running a live Linux CD lol.

In the kitchen where I eat , I have an island there with a nice 3 person eating area, I work there most of the time or outside on the patios. I have no formal work area any more inside any more.

Back in the day, my desk was a big woofer. Had carpet on it, too, so it was surprisingly comfortable, and the air flowing made me cool in the summer. :p

Where I am now in the Den I have a small desk by the patio doors I can see the front door, close to everything I need and I can get a coffee or snack right from the kitchen.

I did that once, but then the second room for some reason was swarmed by like millions of termites one night at 3am, just in that one room, it was like I was in a horror movie. I moved out.. I didn't need it at the time anyways, just had a secret extra apartment for fun lol.

When I moved out of my parents home I rented this one bedroom with a friend, $550 a month, it was about 40 year old building 36 units. The first night we went to clean it up after signing the rental agreement, man we wanted to run. It was an ant party. We stayed there 4 months and saved some money moved to a newer building. Ants are the worst.

Yeah, ants would probably be worse. I found a neat way to kill a ton of ants instantly, though. If you've seen that Method brand all purpose spray cleaner that's lemon scented, spray that once on a swarm of ants and they'll all just die once it touches them.
