how has your week started out mine is not on a good start, my laptop won;t boot up on my IPad now, looks to me it is going to be an expense I had not planned for, going out to Bestbuy today to buy a new laptop. What do you suggest for around $800-$900

I woke up 10 years or so ago on New Years day turned on my laptop and nothing, that was one way to start the new year. I feel for you bbwlover, if you can justify a few more dollars get a Macbook, this is my second one and they are pretty much indestructible.

I got a MacBook Pro for a very good price at BestBuy's in Burbank. It was reduced from $14999 to $999.

Here is the exact model info off their site.

Apple - MacBook Pro - 13" Display with Touch Bar - Intel Core i5 - 8GB Memory - 512GB SSD - Space Gray

Congrats on a very nice box of tricks, if you do not drop it or spill liquids on it I bet it will work for at least 10 years. My first MacBook went for around 8 years without ever having a problem.
