Nope ICANN will step in they have a premandated mechanism to not allow that when a registrar closes shop

It would appear that Face Book will own the domains to settle the judgement -

No matter how it plays out since they are an ICANN accredited registrar the domains will be online and safe, this is how I have always seen these cases go down.

Will never use them again.
They sold domains out from under me then refunded my registration fees.

When starting up I asked butcher where was a cheap and safe place to register my domain. He said some thing I never forget. Paraphrasing it now.

Any ICANN registrar is a safe place think of an ICANN registrar as a bank with FDIC insurance, your domain and money are safe with those companies. They have insurance of sorts.
