Bitcoin payouts

Since FCP bit the dust, a lot of sponsors don't offer checks and I'm not a fan of the expense of wires I'm looking at using bitcoin as payout option. I've never used bitcoin and I'm still fairly ignorant on the subject. Do any of you use bitcoin to get paid? Any info and feedback would be welcome!

The way I understand it you sell them on an exchange. Some wallets let you link your bank for ACH or you can wire. There's also ATM's cropping up all over the US, one is 15 miles from my house.

Thanks for the info Heidihoe. I have not seen an atm around my area that dispenses cash for BC's. But I'll look into this.

I have faith in Bitcoin making a come back and going higher than it used to be last year. It just makes common sense why this is the future.

There are quite a number of potential problems with using bitcoin, the rate go's up and down drastically then you have to find a wallet system you think you can trust and you have to then fucking exchange them before you have any chance of getting your cash I don't like the whole idea in the least... especially since a few months back a friend lost 100,000 becasue the broker refused to pay out ! and another friend stood to loose a small fortune when it dropped but actually came out with a bit profit somehow he explained to me what he did but I couldn't quite understand it... the main problem to me is becasue there is an extra party in the chain which means added possibility to get fucked.

A lot of sponsors don't offer checks or ACH, wires are expensive plus the payout threshold is higher than I prefer. Being located in the USA paxum, webmoney, epayments, etc aren't available. FirstChoicePay biting the dust has really put a damper on things! I'm getting ready to yank 3 sponsors due to lack of acceptable payout method. For now I'm using ACH and check payouts, not ready for crypto yet. However, the way things have been going lately I might resort to it in the future. I been researching it a little and if push comes to shove...

I'm working for a guy who is launching a new program, do you think Bitcoins will increase the number of affiliates who signup, or are we wasting time on this idea.

Might be worth pursuing. I seen an article on the web a few days ago about more pending legislation regarding banking and stemming the illicit profits from the sex trade. This could have further impacts on the porn industry as a whole within the USA if it passes since the banking industry tends to be conservative. When in doubt.... NO!

It seems to be getting harder and harder to make a buck. Too many damn roadblocks! If only I could turn back time and know what I know now back then...
