do programs copy the TOS from other programs
Not to bring up the mistakes on the camsoda program (oops I just did) I was thinking do programs copy and past TOS and not read to make changes that apply to their specific program. Not saying they copied and pasted but a general question. They obviously have errors on their TOS.

It happens more than you think. When I read program terms I see a lot of phrases taken straight of another site I have seen before.Garry2000 wrote: ↑July 6th, 2021, 11:54 amNot to bring up the mistakes on the camsoda program (oops I just did) I was thinking do programs copy and past TOS and not read to make changes that apply to their specific program. Of all the things to sue someone over, a plagiarized tos is probably way down towards the bottom of the list.

I would think TOS terms, in general, would apply as general legalese and unless your program has some need for specific language applicable to only parts of your program why wouldn't for the most part they apply like the wording of standards apartment rental agreements? or other agreements that the terms are generic per se.Garry2000 wrote: ↑July 6th, 2021, 11:54 amNot to bring up the mistakes on the camsoda program (oops I just did) I was thinking do programs copy and past TOS and not read to make changes that apply to their specific program.
