Good to know which ones have this for when I come to move servers.
We offer free migration as well, so hopefully that helps too.

Ethernet Servers has this in their shared hosting with free Softaculous which also let's you do auto backups to other locations such as Google Drive, site staging, cloning, restore, etc. There's a cPanel, free LightSpeed too. Great host :)

how much would you pay for a licensed copy of Wordpress if they started charging for it?

I go back to using Joomla!

Naw, just kidding. Nothing wrong with Joomla! but there's way more stuff available for use with WordPress.

I would keep using it if there's a one time fee below a hundred. I'm not into ongoing license fees. I would switch CMS or break out my notepad and start coding what I want.

Even if it was $10 a year a lot of splogs and useless sites would disappear, not a bad idea.

It can not cost the host anything to the host, once they set it up it's smooth sailing, so why are more hosts not offering this.

I can host you with simple WP installs on one of my private servers!
https://wwwsi.net/
Do some speed tests if you like. This is a default install, I dont think we have any caching or CDNs active.
This will give you an idea of the raw power.

What level are you $25 per month or $125 per month. Somewhere inbetween.

We do support on WP at $35 per hour. Basic support.
Server issues are included.

We run
https://control-webpanel.com
Which comes with a WP installer, that works very well. I use it often.

Or you can do this to get started.
Get a good promotional plan at DomainSecure.net

It comes with 5 basic wordpress installs, So that is $12 per year per install.
a windows server. I dont use this.
a lynux server. I think I put about 6 zero traffic sites on here and slowly upgraded as they needed new stuff.
I am not going to list the long list of products that come with the account.
a bunch more stuff for $59 per year,

Plus you get a site like
DomainSecure.com the pro level site!

I promote this one and YourBusinessNeedsA.com on my sites and the conversion are nice. Not a lot, but there are conversions.
Easily pays for itself!

Use it for what it will do cheap and then upgrade the sites as you need to.
$59 per year is a good price.
