Can some one here please help me figure out how to make a page in the root of the domain on my server responsive, in WP it is fine but when I have a page outside of WP the banners make the page scroll to the right on my Iphone.

I'd have to look at it, probably a CSS thing. What part of your site is WP and what part isn't?

There is no css it is just pages I want images to be responsive, is there a responsive basic code you can add, just thinking out loud.

I guess you could add
style="max-width:100%;height:auto;
to your img tag

Or if there's multiple images add to your head
<style>
img {max-width:100%;height:auto;}
</style>

That is neat I just used it and it works like a gem.

I switched one of my sites to this one since the old code I was using had to be on a css file and another code for each banner, this is much simpler.

Thanks. I'm too cheap to pay for coding so I learn. I've been too cheap to pay since 2001. It's amazing how much crap you pick up over the years. :)

Yep, you're absolutely right. Life used to be so simple when all we had to worry about were PC display resolution and browsers. I remember when I first switched my display from 800x600 to 1024x768. Fixed and fluid tables in designs... those were the days...

And of course optimizing and slicing up images to be displayed whole within a table to speed up lousy dialup load times!

Why keep pages in your root instead of creating and managing them from within wordpress? There's an easy to use plugin that'll add additional templates for you to use including striping header/footer giving you a blank slate :)
