Oops... I forgot about that. It's been 2 or 3 years when I 1st came across it and i don't think there is sample content. Maybe at one time there was but no more. Good news is the theme is free and you don't need sample content. Just create a few posts yourself and there's your sample

If making regular posts doesn't work and you set the homepage as a static page, you'll probably need some kind of xml example since that one uses custom fields, or look through the code and figure out what they should be. The example on the site doesn't work, though. :/

If you want to make your own, it would be a good way to learn things like custom post types, as well as how to code a custom loop to output the lists how you want.
