apps that sign you into sites

how safe is apps that sign you in sites, today was trying to log in site it has link to sign in with gmail or facebook, is this safe.

Lots of sites/apps do that now. It's pretty safe, as long as the login boxes are the real ones from FB/Google/Twitter/etc.

Some people will say things like "Logging in with the same FB account everywhere is less secure than using the same PW with regular logins", but that's just people being annoying with statistics.

Colmike7 is right they are nearly always safe if the login boxes are form the aformentioned sites
