Birthing persons’ day just more politically correct bull

Have people really lost their minds, I heard this on a talk radio earlier where the host was saying Happy birthing persons’ day" instead of happy mothers day. Come on this political correct crap has gotten out of hand.

Today is mothers day, mothers breast feed their babies not "Chest feed" ( I mentioned this one a few weeks back, where you are supposed to say chest feeding not breast feeding).

Why do we have to come up with some other term for simple things like mothers day, breast feeding....

Years ago it became politically incorrect to say 'Merry Christmas at Christmas, the new term was "Happy holidays." No it's Christmas because Christians who believe in the whole Jesus story call it Christmas, the fact that I am an atheist and don't believe in it does not mean I do not go around wishing others a merry Christmas, that I do. At Hanukkah I say happy Hanukkah not happy Easter or happy holidays.

Stop being so careful about offending the few by using the real words and terms, that's my way of thinking.
