2 IP's 2 name servers 1 cpanel on the server
Here is my problem. On my server I have my domains with their own dns all working fine. I have the one Cpanel license I pay every month. For a new site I want to use another IP and have set up the name servers at Godaddy, but the host can not add that domain on it's wn IP because they say I have one Cpanel license and want me to pay them another $40 a month for a 2nd license. Is that right or are they jerking me around to get another $40 / month off me?

Let me talk this one out. You have your dns ip from the host, so it will resolve to them, they need to point it to your server, what am i missing here.

No your host is correct f you want a separate cpanel for that domain you have to license it.

I have it on my server with the one CPanel, I don't know why you think it will need 2 CPanels.

Let me get this right, the cPanel license is only good for one name server?

I'm totally lost here. Why wouldn't you be able to run more than 1 ip off 1 cpanel? You assign your domains to ips within cpanel. What does the NS have to do with it? You should be able to set up however many ns you damn well please in your domain dns in cpanel and then enter them in godaddy domain registry. I must be missing something.

@ Koster either your host is clueless or wants to charge you more, what heidihoe said is correct.
