Not to get way off subject but I saw a documentary last year where air traffic controllers regularly take naps under the desk or in their chairs due to the stress of the job.AndyR wrote: ↑April 5th, 2018, 10:51 pmThat's a stressful job especially since the owners expect you to be on par with an air traffic controller.Franksdomains wrote: ↑April 5th, 2018, 9:02 pmMy worst nightmare was working as a dispatcher for a local taxi service. After 3 months I walked out, the owner would yell and scream at everyone in dispatch.

I can see how AA and that occupation would not go too well together. Good for you boss for taking action to control your drinking issues, I assume you had them or would not have gone to AA.

Being a webmaster is the best one so far, money wise and perks.
Perks, my own boss, no set hours, no driving to work, not dressing up for work...

Did you start drinking more after taking on the job or were you already into drinking.

Working for a club as a hostess was so much fun, but the hours were too late and after a year I said to myself I can not go to sleep 5am 4 nights a week and left. By the time I used to get home, wind down it was 5am, so that ended unfortunately.

You know where there is a lot of money, in plumbing. If only I had finished my courses. They get an arm and a leg especially those "24 hour emergency guys."

when i worked nights, i would put aluminum foil over all the windows in the bedroom to keep out the light, and hope that nobody got up early to mow their lawnsaucyadele wrote: ↑May 6th, 2018, 8:31 amWorking for a club as a hostess was so much fun, but the hours were too late and after a year I said to myself I can not go to sleep 5am 4 nights a week and left. Working at a club in LA as a bouncer was the best man, I used to get tips out the ass for letting people cut the line to enter.

A better question would be, what haven't I done since moving out of home at 17.
