can any one help me delete a site from FTP

Hello can any one help me delete a site from FTP. I logged into my CPanel deleted the site from the domains list. When I opened FTP it is still there, so I went logged into my CPanel again the domain is not there, how do I take this dead site off from my FTP. I am using FileZilla if that makes any difference.

Just delete it in ftp once you have taken it off in cpanel.

I guess that should do it, not deleted a site since I started using Cpanel so not sure why if would not remove it from the ftp list too..
