when you drink how many do you usually have in a day

How is it some of my friends get a glass of wine or a cocktail play with it for 2 hours when we are at a club. When I get my first drink it carries on until I realize I am drunk.

Why I stopped drinking last year. Because i like beer too much, you could never tell if I had the one or 4 , not one of those people who got louder, obnoxious, rude or showed it. But figured with the type 2 and not wanting to go on medication for it, I have to make some life choices. Beer went out. So did smoking but that one seems to have crept back into my life lately.

I rarely drink, but I do sometimes when other people are.
One time I drank too much Champagne and Prosecco when I went to Malta and met the Dating Factory and Traffic mansion people, then I fell asleep face down on a Hello Kitty raft in the pool and a Russian programmer woke me up to tell me to put a shirt on since I was pretty burned. ..Then I found the cabinet with all of the sunscreen. :p

What is the point of being drunk all the time, when I drink it is on weekends with friends.

My drinking days are way behind me now. When I drink it is a glass of wine , a far cry from 20 years ago when it would be a bottle in one night.
