do you cook
My skills are not the best yet I am reading articles online on how to cook. Eating fats food and out is not healthy in the long run, and I eat fast food most luch times and when the gf gets home from her work we usually order some take away or eat out since she is tired. So here is my question , are you any good cooking for one or 2 people, and what do you cook.

I do the best roast turkey and leg of lamb plus I love to barbecue on charcoal, I'll do anything that involves a real fire. but everything else I leave to the dragon she's way better at cooking than me.

crockpot is easy to do
you can easily set it up in the morning and it will be ready when she gets home
or ---
if you work at home
why not have dinner cooked and ready for her when she gets home
checken takes 45 minutes
salmon takes 8 minutes
a steak takes 12 minutes
healthier than take out pizza

(from the internet)
easy slow cooker beef recipe
There are few things better than a Sunday dinner, and nothing makes for a better main dish than a tender beef roast.
After church, our whole family goes to Grandma Bev's for dinner. One of her go-to recipes to feed all of us is this slow cooker roast.
It may seem daunting, but I'm here to offer an easy roast recipe: put the roast in your slow cooker, and let it do the work
Slow Cooker Beef Roast
Ingredients:
1 3.5 lb beef roast
1 onion, sliced (yellow, white, or purple onion - your choice)
1/2 cup warm water
1 tbsp or 1 cube beef bouillon (optional)
salt and pepper
Directions:
Layer the sliced onion on the bottom of the slow cooker.
Place the roast on top of the onions, and season with salt and pepper.
If desired, dissolve beef bouillon in 1/2 cup warm water, and pour into base of slow cooker.
Cook on low for 8-10 hours to achieve the most tender roast, or cook on high for 4-6.
Note: You can start this recipe with a frozen beef roast, but you may need to cook it longer than the time listed.
Serve with roasted potatoes and carrots for a meal of comfort food, or coleslaw and barbecue sauce for an easy meal.
Alterations: Mix up the seasonings and veggies based on what you like.

I live with a picky eater and that takes the fun and variety out of cooking. Good thing I'm not picky. As long as it's dead I'm good...
Back in the day stir fry used to be one of my favs. Marinate some meat in soysauce, wine and a sprinkle of cornstarch. Cut up some veggies. Stir fry in peanut oil on high heat. Add some rice to your plate and you're done in a matter of minutes. Keep it simple

I like to eat anything that is fresh no matter what the dragon cooks I'll eat it and say that was great and thanks. Picky eaters don't bother me as much as people who pick holes in the food they ate, I think it's mean to the person who took the time to cook and be unappreciated.
