"EHTML (or Extended HTML) can be described as a set of custom elements that you can put on HTML page for different purposes and use cases. The main idea and goal of this library is to provide a convenient way to get rid of JavaScript code on the client side as much as it's possible for basic and routine stuff."

Yeah, but a long time ago when there were old OSes is about the only time where .htm was useful (Some could only do 3 letter extensions and had character limits in file names) but it doesn't really matter anymore.TheButcher wrote: ↑July 10th, 2020, 4:35 pmWhen I started out .htm was the way to go, then it became .html

It might had something to do with the popularity with frontpage which published with the htm extension.TheButcher wrote: ↑July 10th, 2020, 5:05 pmI didn’t know the reason for it but in the late 1990’s it was htm

I also think back in the day people were paranoid with rules that were outdated even then. Like no caps/spaces in file names, only three characters for extensions, don't make file names too long, etc. But I've never had any of those issues unless it's something like character limit on a Commodore 64 (and Vic 20s, but those aren't as cool.)... :pHeidiHoe wrote: ↑July 21st, 2020, 4:22 pmIt might had something to do with the popularity with frontpage which published with the htm extension.TheButcher wrote: ↑July 10th, 2020, 5:05 pmI didn’t know the reason for it but in the late 1990’s it was htm
