did you check your local hatchery and pet shops for fish???

No, I find it more enjoyable to find local wild one´s that´ll enjoy a predator free environmentBrasSmonkey wrote: ↑June 20th, 2020, 4:30 pmdid you check your local hatchery and pet shops for fish???

i was thinking about that yesterday. we had a gorilla at the local zoo named hazzle. she did not look happy if you ever seen them in the wild they live in a klan. she didn't have anybody. it made me feel bad as a kid i noticed it. i don't think wild animals should be put in prison. just my two cents.FilmLatex wrote: ↑June 20th, 2020, 5:18 pmNo, I find it more enjoyable to find local wild one´s that´ll enjoy a predator free environmentBrasSmonkey wrote: ↑June 20th, 2020, 4:30 pmdid you check your local hatchery and pet shops for fish???(but i do have a variety of petshop ones inside in the aquarium

the I have always detested the idea of zoos and circus, I think it is cruel to cage animals up especially ones in the circus.BrasSmonkey wrote: ↑June 20th, 2020, 9:49 pmi don't think wild animals should be put in prison. just my two cents.

Agreed, zoo´s and circuses are usually sad to see with captured animals in unnatural environments (safari parks and the like where at least they have plenty of space are nicer to see usually) ... an aquarium is the same concept but has the upside at least that the tiny fish in there has a habitat bigger than their territory would be in the wild.BrasSmonkey wrote: ↑June 20th, 2020, 9:49 pmi was thinking about that yesterday. we had a gorilla at the local zoo named hazzle. she did not look happy if you ever seen them in the wild they live in a klan. she didn't have anybody. it made me feel bad as a kid i noticed it. i don't think wild animals should be put in prison. just my two cents.

too each his own. just use bought fish in my opinion. nothing that has been roaming free.FilmLatex wrote: ↑June 21st, 2020, 2:52 amAgreed, zoo´s and circuses are usually sad to see with captured animals in unnatural environments (safari parks and the like where at least they have plenty of space are nicer to see usually) ... an aquarium is the same concept but has the upside at least that the tiny fish in there has a habitat bigger than their territory would be in the wild.BrasSmonkey wrote: ↑June 20th, 2020, 9:49 pmi was thinking about that yesterday. we had a gorilla at the local zoo named hazzle. she did not look happy if you ever seen them in the wild they live in a klan. she didn't have anybody. it made me feel bad as a kid i noticed it. i don't think wild animals should be put in prison. just my two cents.
The pond ... is a natural environment in itself, frogs have already found it by themselves so tadpoles only speed up them having a sufficient number to breed ... and its exactly the preferred living space for silver carps, except there are no pikes to eat them (until a bird brings pike eggs one day from the nearby stream as will likely happen sooner or later)
