Usually, you would base it on the volume it brings in - if those themes are actually selling now its worth quite a bit (say it makes 5k month - then you´d deduct expenses, look at the trendline and come up with say 4k expected running profit - and multiply by say 24x months) - that's one way at least

Trying to price it based on the value of inventory is harder ... like you say "20+ Premium Themes worth $2500" but why 2500? If nobody buys them the current value is 0, if theyve sold 5k worth in the last month they're worth way more

If it isnt selling anything now:
1. did it ever? (ie has it dropped off, does it need investment in upgrading the themes etc) - if so, id still use the above calculation based on sales, but obviously deduct a lot ...because its mostly potential & needs investment first.
2. Its all brand new & has never been put to the market - there they´d have to try and make realistic scenarios for potential sales - kind of like 1 but less value
3. Its some kind of whitelabel or non-exclusive material that are selling elsewhere - so the value is basically just a licensing fee ... then its not worth much

if you buy it you better have one in place to fix it. i saw a designer bought a popular templating for mech bunny. it worked because he was already doing mech bunny designs

If the numbers are true its actively selling a nice amount - so its worth quite a bit.

I´d investigate a bit:
- The support forums, are the customers happy? Are there tons of bugs or are they asking for small things?
- How have the sales progressed over time?
- How many of the affiliates are sending traffic/sales? How much?
- Are there other sales venues than affiliates?

But no matter what, if the numbers are true its worth a good deal...
