What do you need for your own name server dns, 1 domain i guess and......
one domain, get the ip address form your hosting company to point it to, set up NS1 and NS2 at your registrar with that IP, bingo.
Now have all your other domains point to ns1 and ns2. that domain.

You change the hosting company all you need is a new IP to use for the one name server domain and the rest will follow.
How I do it.
so you're saying all I need is one domain not 2?

I just created two subdomain redirects for a new affiliate program I am working on.

With in minutes, it was working. I waited minutes to test just to be sure. You do not want to check to quickly. This will set your LOCAL DNS. Then you must wait on them to update.

don't use the free and expect it to work.

You might notice it NOT working, but some of your visitors will never be your visitors.

The only I use Namecheap is for the free private registration if Godaddy costs less for PR I would buy all my domains from them.
