Supply and demand in a free market economy is fine.It face masks were $5 when not in demand and now sell for $25 because of the demand what is wrong with this.

I might have it, and if I do it's darn mild and not knocking me out. But not been feeling well for a week now. But not going to the hospital, clinic or doctors unless I start having breathing problems. The chances are I'll contract it from one of those places and have it if I don't already. And they are saying stay home for a week self quarantine yourself before going to the doctors unless things change for the worse then go in.
there really is no need to go to the hospital if you can ride the thing out without complications like breathing problems. It's a virus what can they do, antibiotics won;t help. With viruses a lot of liquids, rest and that's it.

With so many people staying indoors and not all sick with the Coronavirus or in self isolation, I think they'll get up to naughty things
and we'll see a bump in the birth rate all over the world.
What do you think?

More Than Half of Californians Could Get Coronavirus, Governor Says

More Than Half of Californians Could Get Coronavirus, Governor Says
In a Thursday letter to President Donald Trump, California Gov. Gavin Newsom said he expected roughly 56 percent of the state’s population — 25.5 million people — will be infected with the coronavirus over an eight-week period.
“As you know, California has been disproportionately impacted by repatriation efforts over the last few months. Our state and health care delivery systems are significantly impacted by the rapid increase in COVID-19 cases,” Newsom wrote. “Moreover, we have community acquired transmission in 23 counties with an increase of 44 community acquired infections 24 hours. We project that roughly 56 percent of our population — 25.5 million people — will be infected with the virus over an eight week period.”
Newsom has requested that Trump deploy the USNS Mercy Hospital Ship to Los Angeles through Sept. 1 to “help decompress the health care delivery system” in the LA region so that “it has the ability to address critical acute care needs, such as heart attacks and strokes or vehicle accidents, in addition to the rapid rise in COVID-19 cases.”

The USNS Mercy is a hospital ship that was originally built during the Cold War to provide medical services during wartime. The USNS Mercy is stationed in San Diego and will be sent to a city on the West Coast, while the USNS Comfort — another hospital ship — has been sent to New York City, Trump announced in a Wednesday press conference.
In another letter sent on Thursday, Newsom also requested more than $1 billion in federal aid from Congress to support California’s medical response to the pandemic, as well as an expansion of unemployment insurance and financial assistance for Medicaid, housing and homelessness programs, state-subsidized early learning and childcare programs, and other safety net programs. The governor also requested assistance for small businesses economically impacted by the pandemic through the creation of a new U.S. Treasury authority to provide guaranteed loans from U.S. banks for small- and medium-sized businesses, as well as cash and rental assistance.
“The outbreak of a novel coronavirus, or COVID-19, is an evolving, unprecedented global crisis of a scale that we have never seen before. The economic disruption caused by this public health crisis will have immediate and devastating effects on our entire country, including too many families in California,” Newsom wrote to Nancy Pelosi, Mitch McConnell, Kevin McCarthy, and Chuck Schumer. “The magnitude of this crisis is extraordinary and federal-state-local government coordination will be more critical than ever before.”
Nineteen people in California have died from COVID-19, the illness caused by the novel coronavirus, while at least 958 have tested positive for the virus, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and other city and county officials announced the “safer at home” public order in response to COVID-19, requiring more than 10 million people to stay at home and most businesses to close.
The order will go into effect in L.A. County, the nation’s most populous county, at midnight Thursday.
All businesses that require workers to be present must stop operations by 11:59 p.m. Friday, Garcetti said. Businesses that provide “essential services” are exempt.
Mayor Garcetti said that “today is a day that will be seared into the story and the streets” of the city and will be a “moment when everything changed.”
The only time people should leave their home is for essential activities like getting food or taking care of a loved one, according to the mayor.
“This is not a shelter-in-place. It’s a ‘stay at home’,” Garcetti said.
He emphasized that this is a health emergency and nobody is on lockdown.
“We know that social distancing does not mean restriction from going outside and does not mean isolation,” Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger said at the afternoon press conference.
She said people should refrain from gathering in a closed space with more than 10 people.
Barger said they did not know how long the order will be in place but said that it will be temporary.

The briefing came after Gov. Gavin Newsom said Thursday that half of Californians could get infected with coronavirus over the next eight weeks. The governor asked Congress for $1 billion to support the state’s medical response against the virus.
A second person died in L.A. County Thursday, and an additional 40 cases were reported in the county, bringing the total to 230 patients.
Throughout the state, there are 958 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with 19 deaths.
The latest figures from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as of noon Thursday show that there are 10,442 diagnosed cases in the U.S., with 150 deaths.[/quote]

It is necessary, and every city, state and country has to do this now. I keep saying it here, stop the interaction and mixing of people so the virus does not spread fast.
