MSNBC reporter uses what appears to be the "N" word when reporting Kobe Bryant's death, this is just too bad, what a fuck up by the reporter.

Allison Morris but I think she is going to get fired.

Earlier today, while reporting on the tragic news of Kobe Bryant’s passing, I unfortunately stuttered on air, combining the names of the Knicks and the Lakers to say “Nakers.” Please know I did not & would NEVER use a racist term. I apologize for the confusion this caused.

Is that the voice of Bill Rodan going "Oh my" just after her mis-pronunciating the "word?"

I have listened to that clip at least 20 times, and want to give her the benefit of the doubt because I do think she was talking rather quickly and stuttered. Taking her Tweet at face value, "Knicks and the Lakers to say “Nakers" do you hear a "G" in that word she said or not. Because that to me is what makes the difference in what word she used and how credible her explanation is for saying "Nakers"

On another note I was right there is already a petition on change.org to get her fired

Kobe was a legend, rip to him his daughter and the others who died in the crash.
Next wtf was that woman saying it so fast. Slow down girl and talk properly. I hope she said what she said and not that racial slur by accident.
Stop looking for reps if they don't care why waste your time and traffic at their program, fuck that.

The sigs on the petition are going up every second, it's past 16K already. She really best start looking for another job, this is not going to end well for her.

Well obvious to me she made some kind of error, but MSNBC has not fired her. Why have a person fired when they said it was not how it appeared and apologized for the thing.

Have we as a society become so fragile that even a mistake has to lead to a person being fired. This happens way too often, some person says a wrong thing and we want them unemployed. Let's be more forgiving even when a person says the wrong word by mistake.
