"FileZilla" Will damage your computer. You should move it to Trash

God morning, nice way to start my day, I went to open FileZilla, and it has this warning pop up,

""FileZilla" Will damage your computer. You should move it to Trash"

I hate to have to move it to trash and re-install the software because i have 3 ftp accounts to my servers and god knows what the logins and shit are.

So is this for real and I should move it to Trash or ignore it?

On a side note I have always been running Avast, so how did FileZilla get infected or corrupted?

Prolly something like expired certs or something. People that have that issue just use a different build.

I moved it to trash and down loaded the latest release, uploaded and it worked like a charm.

FTP is one of those things when you start with it you get used to it, been using FileZilla for donkeys years and honestly they are all basically a tool to upload pages. As long as it works I am happy with it.

Is that a warning from Filezilla, your Avast or the Mac itself?

A warning has to be taken seriously, from any script, my 1 cent.

Been using filezilla for ages now. Ftp is way easier to use than raking my brain for putty commands which I rarely use or the cumbersome file manager in cpanel. There are times when ftp isn't an option, permission change to 444 for example. I fucking hate that...

^ It really depends on what the error message is and why.

Why not? Changing all three to read works for me in Filezilla.
