[BUSINESS] Filezilla ftp uploading issue

#1

Post by alina » January 1st, 2020, 8:04 pm

Hello and happy new year. Sorry to ask a technical question on the 1st, but I came to upload word press to a new site on my server, I want all the files to be in the root, so I opened the folder on my local screen, tried dragging the whole lot to the server. My Filezilla closed down, I re-started it, tried to drag across 2 folders, same problem, the ftp shut down.

Does any body here know how I can drag and drop the contents of the whole WP folder into the root of the domain , anything but 1 folder at a time it shuts my ftp down, thank you and happy new year.

Delete it from your machine, download the latest version, easiest solution. When scripts act up I do this. Most of the time it solves things out by just using a fresh install.

If you have Avast run it, do a full scan of your computer. You might be surprised what it finds.

If you figure it out tell us, you never know when it might happen to others. Knowing the cause and solution is helpful.
