why do anything, it is what it is, some people like to use the www as part of their domain name. Is it cyber-squatting id the domain name without the www is taken, probably. But I am no lawyer, best ask one.

I'm using it for serving ads, legal docs etc across my other domains. Also to push my cam plugin. I thought about building it out into a webmaster resource site and perhaps pushing a few wp themes from there. I started writing the themes a couple month ago, got side tracked and still haven't finished the project. It's still on my to do list. So I've made a few bucks thru the domain.

It would be very likely, I doubt you can get away using wwwcnn.com for a news portal.
