Dog the Bounty Hunter, who lost his wife Beth, has denied the claims he's in a relationship with his son's ex Moon Angell

Dog The Bounty's Hunter's new girlfriend has broken her silence after the TV star confirmed that they in a relationship.

The romance has been met with huge anger from the Chapman family as Moon Angell was previously dating Duane's son and also worked as the assistant for the TV star's late wife Beth, who tragically died of cancer in June.

Seven months after losing his beloved Beth, Duane admitted that he and Moon were seeing each, hailing her a gift from God.

Now Moon has had her say on the blossoming romance by sharing some social media posts about moving on.

Appearing to address the scandal, she first posted to Twitter a quote which read: "Life goes on. Don't waste it for someone who left you behind. Enjoy your life for someone better will come."

Making her feelings clear, Moon followed this up with: "The strongest people are not those who show strength in front of us, but those who win battles we know nothing about."

Despite her defiant message, one social media user snapped back at Moon: "Someone better? Beth didn't leave she died...you are no where even close to be better and you never will .dog will see through you believe me."

Dog, 66, was forced to come clean about his romance with Moon after his daughter Lyssa Champan lashed out at her dad and his new beau on Twitter.

It came seven months after Dog lost his beloved wife Beth to cancer in June last year.

"Life goes on" agreed Moon, who previously worked for Beth Chapman.

In an interview with RadarOnline he confirmed he and Moon were an item and also lashed out at his kids for abandoning him.

"Moon has been a trustworthy and loyal friend to me for over 20 years. She has been with my family through many ups and downs," he said.

"All my children are grown and gone on their own, there's no one left to help me."

Dog went on: "Moon is experienced. It's just that. Who knows what my future holds, but right now I need her.
Beth sadly died of cancer in June last year.

"There will never be another Mrs Dog but that doesn't mean I have to be so sad."

He added that he'd prayed for god to take away his loneliness after Beth's death.

"I know Almighty God hears my broken heart and I didn't ask him for another Mrs Chapman, but I asked him for a friend and He gave me Moon."

It comes after a source close to Duane denied any romantic entanglement between the pair.

"Moon has been a family friend to Beth and Dog for years," an insider told People magazine.

"Since Beth's death, she has stepped in to help Dog in his time of need. There will never be another Beth."

But Lyssa angrily tore into Moon, who previously dated her brother - one of Dog's 10 sons - accusing her of moving Beth's clothes out of the family home and moving herself in.

Taking to Twitter after her father thanked Moon in an Instagram post, Lyssa blasted: "If someone who met your family by dating your brother, tried to date your father after your stepmom died what would you do?
Dog's family aren't too happy with the new relationship.

Sources have since claimed that Beth was suspicious of Moon and warned those closest to her that something might happen between her and her husband.

"Beth told people because she knew Moon's intentions, which were to get Duane to trust her, so she could control every aspect of his life," the source told The Sun.

They then added Moon's plan had worked as she was living in Dog's home and sleeping his bed.

I saw this story a little while ago and there are some parts that just made me go hmmmm.

His wife Beth died 7 month ago, he is seeing his son's ex Moon Angell. Ms Angell has been a family friend for 20 years and worked for Beth Chapman. Dating your son's ex girlfriend is kinda creepy to me.

On another note what has God have to do with this whole scenario, and he has been married 5 times and has 13 children, that is a busy man.
