[BUSINESS] how often you check your sites

#1

Post by cimage » January 10th, 2020, 10:27 am

In my mind there are 2 sets of sites I run, the ones updated every day by me, (read the ones that make the most sales) and the rest that are so so in sales.

This morning I went looked at a few of my 2nd tier sites and 2 had been hacked. So form now on I plan on checking all my sites every other day.

How about you, how often do you look at all your sites.
Stop looking for reps if they don't care why waste your time and traffic at their program, fuck that.

Cimage,

When I'm working my usual schedule I see my major sites daily but I also keep google analytics running on one of my monitors. That has helped me see any odd activity/spikes in the traffic when there is a hack.

Dave
I run a nice little group of sites. www.SpeedoFetish.com (main pay site), www.AussieSpeedoGuy.org (members blog site), GayMoviesPage.com (non-monetized tube site) and www.BisexualDave.com (members blog site).

Been in the industry since 2001 so something must be working since the bills are paid.

How about you, how often do you look at all your sites.
You assume I remember all my older sites, every domain I have has dozens of blogs on them.I am a build and build guy. A numbers game philosophy. Build sites, Google will find them, they'll get traffic and whatever sales come in great news. The sites I care about and work religiously on all the time are the big fish sites.

When I have nothing else to do I go thru the list, they are all on a spread sheet, but niche, sponsors, last update date.

Just about every day I go thru 30 sites. Do any tweaks I see fit, update the scripts if they need updating.... I see all my sites at least once every 2 weeks

When adding new posts I see them, a caveat most of mine are running sponsor content rss feeds, so not those ones all the time.

What do you use to monitor if a site is down?
