[NON-BUSINESS] Golden Globes on Sunday

#1

Post by TheButcher » January 2nd, 2020, 10:20 am

One of the rare times I'll be watching v is this Sunday, Ricky Gervais is hosting the 77th annual Golden Globed for the 5th time. He is far the best host for that show.
He's got 3 himself over the years.

Plus 2 Emmy awards, 7 BAFTA awards, 5 British Comedy Awards, the list goes on.

1917 deserved to win the best motion picture -drama award, it was fantastic, that and Joker were my picks for the top win.

No major surprises, the pundits were right going into the awards.

His first 3 times were great, this and the prior one were not that exciting, that said he's one of my favourite stand up comedians.
Nothing to do with him being an atheist, another funny man is Jim Jefferies and he happens to be an atheist too :)

Joaquin Phoenix in "Joker" nailed it, just said this in another thread here.
