I am perfectly fine with Namecheap, using their service for years now. Not a one-man team, rare case when I am satisfied with the support of a company. I have to admit though that never had to move hosting from them, so I have no experience on that part.

Worst experience so far was with Hostinger, too many downtimes.
When I checked out namecheap hosting I could have sworn I read they don't allow adult. Are you hosting mainstream sites there?
My main site that is in my signature is also hosted by them. They somewhat marketing themselves to select them for adult hosting due to their WHOIS guard protection.

Yeah the free privacy guard is great but it's related to the domain registration and has nothing to do with the hosting.

Check 8.Prohibited Activities in their tos https://www.namecheap.com/legal/hosting/aup/
... not to use Namecheap services to host any website, other content, links or advertisements of websites that: infringe any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other proprietary rights of any third party information; contain nudity, pornography or other content deemed adult related; profess hatred for particular social, ethnical, religious or other group; contain viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of a computer or a person's property; contain warez; contain any kind of proxy server or other traffic relaying programs; promote money making schemes, multi-level marketing or similar activities; contain lottery, gambling, casino; contain torrent trackers, torrent Portals or similar software; violent or encouraging violence. ...

Funny thing is that I had to contact their support a couple of times for a Client who also had adult sites on their servers. They have never mentioned at all that adult is prohibited, moreover used to have sites where it was also clear from the domain name. Unless they really believe that BDSM stands for Bible Discussion & Study Meeting

Hmmm... sounds like their support doesn't give a damn about the tos or they're turning a blind eye. The question is for how long. You might wake up one day and find your account suspended, all your sites offline and perhaps removed from the server due to not abiding by their tos. It's a risk. Definitely make sure you download or store backups elsewhere.

Thank you for the advise. This is the second year when I am using their service without any notification.

Anyway, I am just confirmed with their support:
We have is strictly prohibited on shared and EasyWP hosting. However, on VPS or dedicated hosting it may be hosted until there are complains about it. For example, child pornography or things like that can be reported and the service may be suspended because of this.
Yes, we offer migrating to VPS or dedicated hosting in such cases firstly.

Just had this same question on another board.

Have to say we've been with Webair for around 10-15 years and never had any problems. Not sure what they are like with smaller hosting accounts as we have quite a lot of kit with them ( 8 or 9 servers, load balancer, CDN, backups, db server, cron server etc) so i guess we are a reasonably big client for them.

But they always respond to our support requests within minutes usually. Often they will spot something before i do and raise the ticket themselves
