No increase in my December host bill, so let's keep it that way.

Hoping my January bill for my 2 servers is the same as before. I have Cpanel on both. And pay for each every month with the host bill, they handle it all.

I would manually back up the databases, then go through my current install config files to see which ones should be in use, then remove the other ones.
Best answer!

My host never put my monthly server price up, that was nice of them.

Yes but it makes life easier than having to open support tickets at the host.

Cpanel is a win win for hosting companies. The user gets to do more of the management of the server, the host saves on tech support time, the host makes money for the cpanel each month.

You won't believe this, I had never used it until moving to Host4Porn on February 1st 2018. Actually no host I was with in the last 20 years had it on the servers. They were all "Open a ticket" pretty much when you needed something done. I got used to CPanel and it really is a nice box of tricks. So yes it is win-win and it works for both the host and client.
