I got a new mouse at the same time, and it's either my mouse of the update that is causing multiple windows to open when I click on a link, still trying to sort this out.

Adjust the settings for your mouse, it sounds to me your mouse is too sensitive.

Yup I slowed down the "double click speed" in settings and it all worked out fine, thanks for the reminder.

I notice a 'most visited' icon on the upper left now, which is good.

It happens so often I hardly care any more, it is good that it happens automatically.
