[DOMAINS] when you change name servers
not all registrars are as fast to resolve. I discovered this yesterday, when I do a name server change at Godaddy it is in minutes, other places take a long time. I have one at namecheap now for 12 hrs and still not resolving.

It's always been this way , some hosts set a shorter time for dns propagation than others and the same for cable providers.

somemtimes if i put the domain into the host company first, then register the domain, the switch to the hosting company is instant
other times, it can take a few hours
don't know why that is, so i've done both ways, sometimes it's instant, sometimes it isn't
c'est la vie

My host won't let me add a domain until the name servers point to them.bill wrote: ↑November 23rd, 2019, 3:58 pmsomemtimes if i put the domain into the host company first, then register the domain, the switch to the hosting company is instant
