Yeah, it's best to have 0 expectations when using a free theme, and most will need some custom tweaking depending on what you're using it for.

I was using Divi only until I found Themify Ultra.

I chose Divi Initially to empower my clients to do more of the design work themselves. it kinda worked.

Then I realized how much my design time decreased while using Divi. Then I found Ultra by Themify (link above).
This is one of the fastest themes I have found out of the box. Both mobile and desktop page insight scores are in the 90s on the cheapest godaddy hosting.

The responsive design of Ultra far exceeds what you will find with other themes.

The main and possibly only issue with Divi is how they deal with the responsive design.
It says disable, but is really hidden.
