Power down any equipment you are not using, put it in a closet, drawer or cabinet, that is one way to stop eavesdropping.

That should do it but it's going too far and seems a bit paranoid to me boss.

Unless you are a hermit living off grid in the woods entities will be spying on you. Fact of life, get used to it. Besides placing tape over cams, disabling location, using a privacy tunnel, removing cell phone battery you should also close your Facebook and stop using store discount cards. Everything tracks. Everything records, reports. Life will be mighty inconvenient. Unless you want to hide something is it worth it? Just be aware of what to do to keep things more private when the need arises.
